ABOUT DIGITISED ART
DigitisedArt was founded with the objective of making it easier and more cost-effective for galleries and collectors to create,
manage and profitably distribute their artworks in digital formats across existing and emerging media channels.
The system has been designed after extensive consultation with galleries, museums, artists and associated businesses working within the industry.
DigitisedArt aims to:
- Bring the benefits of digitisation to the Fine Arts trade, in particular for dealers, galleries, artists and collectors
- AND create an open platform for agencies and services across the Fine Arts Industry to improve efficiency and quality when
collecting and distributing digital assets; from digitisers and photographers through to printers, designers, web developers and end-consumers.
DigitisedArt benefits its target customers by:
- Innovating and streamlining the costly and time-consuming process of managing large and numerous digital assets
- Providing a secure channel for users to manage their valuable assets and share with specific clients
- Easing the distribution of finished artwork collections through a disparate set of channels
- Providing a credible network enabling clients to track down specific art professionals and increase their revenue potentials.
While pushing the boundaries, we also embrace and fully comply to established standards for meta data (IPTC, EXIF, XMP) and colour profiles
(Adobe 1998 RGB, sRGB IEC61966, CMYK etc.)
